1. (Um... Nightmare BB is better than Jack-O-Chica, like really no matter what... same goes with another example like how Springtrap is just better than RXQ... like really no denying it.) I'm aware that some characters are better than others, but some characters are better in certain situations. For example, Nightmare Freddy is a garbage character on his own, but he is vital to have in a party, as he can use a debuff move.

2. (Most speedgames don't have RNG!) Any Zelda game, any Mario game, any... game. Actually. There are SEVERAL games that have RNG. I honestly thought that would be obvious. It's a huge part of any run. If you need more examples, just look at the original FNaF franchise. RNG galore.

4. (Why wouldn't you get it in the first place?) This was just an example. A basic one, but an example nonetheless.

6. (Seriously?!? I actually have speedran more games than just this one! and none of them are even RNG at all, one of them has a little bit of RNG, but it's not based around it.) If by, "more games" you mean "Papa Louie 2:When Burgers Attack!", then I really don't think you've dabbled much in speedrunning the usual game. If you've watched other runs, that's a different story, but you would have seen how much luck is a factor in speedrunning.

7. (If you play an actual speedgame, like any Crash Bandicoot platformer, you'll see how there isn't any RNG, and it's nothing but pure skill... and that's how must games are. Pure SKILL, not RNG.) Yeah. That's Crash Bandicoot. This is FNaF World. They are completely different beasts.

Let's be honest. Our current Speedrun.com homepage needs some customization. So, I figured the best way to do it was to ask you all. What do you think we should add to the page? We can add a few things. Those being: -The Logo in the very top left of the screen, where it now says, "Speedrun.com" -The icon that symbolises 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place of a run. Right now, 1st - 3rd have a trophy of gold, silver, and bronze depending on the placing. -Colors in general. Text, menus, etc..

So, what are your suggestions? What should we use? Thanks, everyone :D

Honestly? FNaF World is FAR from the most RNG based game ever. But, that's besides the point. I would like to say a few things about this topic.

One, a tier list is kinda useless. Because some characters just work better with others. That doesn't mean they are better characters, that just means they have better synergy. And a tier list can't really show that.

Two, as speed runners, it's our job to find our way around the RNG. To find strategies that work around it. For example, if you are taking too much damage to Security, then get auto shield. If you are getting too many encounters, Run:Luck. It all depends on what you think is too much and too little. But to be honest, we can't really afford to just throw in the towel and say, "This game has too much RNG." Get around it. Don't complain. Besides, it's something you kinda gotta get used to.

If you have a problem with RNG, then FNaF World isn't the game for you. But to be honest, if you have a problem with RNG, I don't think speedrunning is for you, either. This is just how it works. Nothing you can do to change it.

The FNaF World NuzLocke. A game idea I came up with about 7 months ago, and finally began testing recently, with the help of ZombieGabriel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ue4gM3nra0_6x41d-381Q) and SheppardKiller (https://www.youtube.com/user/sheppardkiller). Sheppard actually beat it, which is surprising (It's not really my place to be putting his video in my forum post, so I'll let him decide if he wants to share it. >v0). This is a very difficult speedrun category, and also a strange one. So, discuss. What should be changed? Kept the same? Talk about it. A similar thing happened to me! There were different circumstances, but I got it on stream. If need be, we could look at what happened during, and before the glitch in a different circumstance.

I've never liked True 100%. It's not really True 100%, there are a few trophies that aren't included (Like the fan, for example.). So, I propose to you, "Ultimate 100%". Every trophy. Every Chip. Every Byte. Thoughts?

Welcome to FNaF World speedrunning! I'm pretty new as well, but once you play the game a bit, you get the hang of it. I've gotten a couple WR's myself :D. The important thing with True 100% is not being stupid. Obviously. Put a good amount of practice into each separate trophy before attempting it. BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE PEARL. That took me an extra 10 minutes in my run, because I couldn't get DeeDee to spawn. So, just do the minigame whenever you see DeeDee. Use the DJSterf2000 Portal to the update 2 world. It is much, MUCH faster than the regular portal. Get update 2 characters ASAP. That's about as much advice as I can give you :P.
