I've been trying ot get the level 1 no skips record, but i cant seem to build up speed like the top runs seem to do?

If someone could give me some advice, that would be really helpful.

Im trying to get the level 1 speedrun record (no skips) , but i cant seem to get my time below 22 seconds, is there any skips that could be used to lower my time, by at least like, 250 milliseconds? The lowest time i could get was 22 seconds, 500 milliseconds.
