As the timing of BW has been changed to RTA, the pause glitch seemed to be useless. But I found out that you can save time in this level by building the refinery during the dialogue to get some gases beforehand and move Duran up a bit earlier. Though remember that Duran can be killed if the enemy crowd up too much units (you can see the AI have started breaking out everything as I finish the CC), also they can destroy your shop/factory unless you put your barrack or first CC in front of it. Possibly you can place the first CC somewhere to make the SCVs drop the 1st set of gases to get the research earlier but I just couldn't seem to figure it out.

You could do the same trick on some other levels as well, Dunes of Shakuras for example.
