I recently had interest into actually speedrunning village, so I sat down and read the rules and vice versa. I downloaded the live split and tried to setup the load remover since it is needed. The issue is, when I pause the in game timer won't stop, the splits won't split automatically, and I looked at so many vids on how to set it up and make it work and kept on noticing that the game has to be version 1.0. does the game need to be downgraded or am I being it stupid that I am missing something. I wanna do the runs the proper way so if I am missing something if you would be able to let me know that would be really appreciated.
@omega54001 So, the game just got a patch yesteday, which means the tool systems wont be working until they get updated aswell. It might take a couple of days before that happens.
Sorry i deleted a run I was trying to figure out how to post a run to begin with and I also forgot I died twice. I’ll do another one. Time isn’t the best but nobody posted for ps4 yet. I can’t get a timer either unfortunately the run still counts if you show the time at the end right
Only PC must have the LRT timer showing at all times. While a timer is appreciated for console, it's not required since it would be impossible to do when streaming from console. Just make sure your submission highlight goes from the main menu (or load file screen for NG+) through the final IGT screen of the game.
