I'm getting pretty damn good at this game I think. My sum of best is below 4 hours now.

I honestly just need to work on not getting encounters, that'll push me ahead a little bit.

I had Spook only fail me once, which was a dooplighost, which kinda sucked but whatever, I'll take that rng anyday.

I also got a t3 rod, which was unfortunate, but obviously not the worst thing that can happen, I've been practicing final bowser and it finally paid off.

I've basically memorized the whole route now aswell, which really helps with my time.
