Because it's basically a glitched run without save corruption, so it follows the rules of any% NSC.
Btw, how would you name it ? "Any% No Save Corruption But The Only Glitch Allowed Is Level 1 Encounters In Viridian Forest" ? That's super long but I can't see a shorter accurate description of the category :v
I'm guessing you want some sort of category where the only glitch allowed is the lv100 pkmn, and then just play it glitchless? idk man, sounds pretty boring to me
I had a thought a while ago about doing all legendaries %, the awkward special stats for yellow missingno could make it an interesting run and you get to do level 100 before brock to go fast
Sorry for necro-ing, but I was thinking about something similar to this for all the gen 1 original games. But, the trouble for Yellow is that Gengar can't learn Surf, so you'd have no way of getting to Cinnabar Island or the Seafoam Islands later in the game.
