Hi guys, I started running this game mainly to impress my kids (they love the game) and I'm getting to tthe point where I'm pretty happy with some of my IL times.
Basically, my setup has too much delay for a "live" timer for real time, so just double-checking if it's ok to add a timer in post?
Also, are we allowed to choose our own weapons before each IL, or do we stick with the defaults?

Welcome! It's actually fine to use a timer like livesplit on another PC and then upload the splits to splits.io. Once you do that add the unique digits in the URL to the submission. This is actually stated in the full game run rules. I would advise to connect your twitch to it so you can claim your times. Because if you do it as a guest you can't have them as "yours" and download them again should you lose your split files.
Yes any weapon sets are allowed and are encouraged to mess around and find the best ones. I actually also made a guide for any% on the weapon sets I used for each mission. Those are what I believe are the best, but if you find other ones feel free to suggest them :)
Yeah, I actully just saw the guns guide before I read your reply, lol. I do have a few ideas to explore there and ofc will hare anything I think helps.
I should have mentioned I don't actually have any regular internet access (so no Twitch account), so record the runs offline and upload them later. I've got few ready to submit now so I will do and see if they're acceptable :)

Thanks, yeah, shouldn't be too hard to shave some time off that Subway route, with better grenade placements and actually being able to shoot the guys at the end lol
