note: you don't need to erase the save file before each run - you can simply start a new run, and the orbs will be breakable as normal (if you already broke some of the orbs, the difference is only aesthetic, those already broken will not be glowing, but they should behave normally) - also, pulling the plug will reset all orbs completely, so you could do this instead of deleting the save file (if you want all orbs to glow)
