8 Hours of drinking, being salty, and banning RPG. I agreed to a playthrough of this as part of a deal I made with RPG about a year ago (for him to get a sub 1:30 in Low% in ALTTP). This game is just awful to play through like this casually. The game isn't 100% bad, in fact if you to play this in a few sittings and explore evolutions, its likely much more tolerable. Being drunk and having a drunk RPG talking shit in the discord didn't help matters, especially after his estimate was "2.5" hours. Grinding is boring. You're pretty much forced to grind, and you have no idea what some of the evolutions do until you waste your experience on them. Boss fights are bullshit. You basically get owned until you figure out a cheap way to kill the boss. The music is mind numbing, most of them being the same fucking loop every 7 seconds. At the end of the day, despite almost giving up on 20+ different occasions, I'm glad I finished. Probably would have finished a few hours earlier if I knew about the downward attack you could do (by pressing Down, Down, A). If I knew anything at all about this game, I'm sure it would have went way smoother. But the game doesn't tell you shit. Anyway, enjoy RPG, because I'm never play this game again.
