I have decided to change when the timer starts for Singleplayer/Band Tour categories. The timer will now start when you've selected the difficulty after creating your band (on Xbox 360/PS3). Since the Wii/PS2 versions doesn't have the character creation, it will just go to the difficulty select, which will start when you select the difficulty. This was a change I've been thinking of doing for a while, but didn't until now because of how I wasn't sure on the Xbox360/PS3 versions as I don't own those versions. The runs that are made in tour mode I have gone through to adjust the time to adjust to this new change. Keep in mind that all runs on the leaderboard will remain up.
