Is it possible you are just pressing the wrong button? Otherwise, I genuinely have no idea what the problem would be.

all cutscenes can be skipped on PC. I'm not really sure why there would be trouble with that. what cutscenes specifically can you not skip?

tbh, rugrats should have a discord group, if it doesn't already. would make it easier for things to be organized.

It wouldn't save that much time. the level itself only takes 2:30, so i estimate time save at maybe a minute. Anyways, I'll come back to this game once I get a GC copy.

they both have the same stats. I believe the reason has to do with Coco's hitbox being easier to work with and less funky, therefore you hit less stuff, however I might be wrong.

Perhaps i am being misunderstood. I am able to stream my console with my pc, however with me having only one monitor, it is difficult for me to play a pc game and stream at the same time. As for the different consoles, that is something every speedgame deals with. Also, while i would agree that no category is needed, i have found that people are more likely to run a category if it is on the speedrun.com page. Besides, i just don't see any reason why any% Console can't be a miscellaneous category, or why console runners are essentially being discouraged from running due to them not being allowed to post times here.

On the other hand Imita, I would consider you to think about the following. First, when everyone thinks about portal, they do in fact think about the pc version. However, there are some people who instead play it on console. While I am well aware they are a minority, the fact of the matter is is that they do exist. Plus, console runs could bring a new, interesting twist to portal speedrunning that no one has really explored. I highly urge you to reconsider and make it at the very least a console option, or else I will simply submit it as a separate game. I think that would be dumb, but if it is the only way for console runs to get represented, then it will be done.

The point of speedrunning is to beat a game as fast as possible, regardless of how interesting or not interesting it looks. Not everyone has a strong enough pc to be able to run portal and stream/record at the same time, and as such, I would like to run on console, and I see no reason why I shouldn't be allowed to do so.

I would like to do a run of portal, but on the orange box for xbox 360. Is it possible to at the very least make 360 an available console to choose, and at most, make console any% a separate category, seeing as pc is able to do many things that console is unable to do.

I'd like to peedrun this game, but in a potential no lap glitch category. could that be a thing?

For the all 6 boards (battle royale/tag battle), the rules do not specify if you need to win each board. Also, why is all 6 boards (duel battle) a category? Thats what star battle arena is, minus a few cutscenes and the final minigame. It makes no sense to exist.

Tume, you dont select a language on NTSC, so that would make timing inconsistent.
