Can someone give me a way to get the PC port? I've tried doing ps2 runs off and on for a year now, but the game keeps crashing on me.

yes, it was found to be invalid as they used the jumping method to clip through the 30 star door as opposed to mips clip. If you want to continue this discussion, can we continue it in the discord, as to avoid cluttering the questions forum with random chit-chat though?

For now, we don't believe solo 31 is necessary. If more people request it and actually do runs, then perhaps. But the last time a category was heavily requested was co-op 16 star, and to this day the board is empty.

Q: What does SC mean/what is Star Cancelling?

A: SC, or Star Cancelling, refers to a glitch that causes the star grabbing animation not to play, and as such you stay in a level after grabbing a star. This glitch is usually performed using Rosalina's spin ability, but can also be triggered by switching characters in a certain way.

Q: I started a run, and me or a partner already have a star/key, despite it being a brand new file. Why?

A: In as simple of a way as I can put it, you have a ghost star/ghost key. In order to avoid it, after any attempt that a star/key is obtained, either reset the server or use a different file.

Q: What does IL mean?

A: Individual Level

Q: In a 70 star co-op run, is mips clip allowed?

A: Technically yes, it is allowed. However, I highly advise using the other door clip method where someone jumps on the other person's head.

Q: Why does solo 120 only have Toad, Yoshi, and Waluigi as options?

A: Luigi, Wario, Peach, and Rosalina all have a broken wing cap in that it's impossible to get all 8 red coins in the wing-cap stage. As such, it is literally impossible to get 120 as only those characters.

A: Stage RTA (SC) aims to utilize star cancelling as much as possible through a run of one level. However, you're not restricted to just using Rosalina; you can use multiple characters throughout the attempt, but your variable will be "Multi" instead of "Rosalina" when submitting.

my advice is join the mario party discord and talk to the mods there. If they aren't answering you here, maybe they will their.

While you might like to see others run it, the fact of the matter is that just because it becomes a category does not mean people will run it. Also, the reason i want to see a run first is because I don't like leaderboards that have categories with 0 runs, as I find that to be a bit foolish. As such, I'll only add the category once a run is done. It does not necessarily have to be you, but just someone.

First off, like james said, you would have to create a new world everytime. Secondly, I have no problem making this a category, however i want to see a run of it first. Third, when you do a run, be sure to get it on video and in the video show the settings you use. If you have any questions, add on to this forum or message me on discord.

So, I was recently made mod of this board and as such I have been reorganizing this board. I've taken many suggestions from the forums, and have done what I felt best for this board, however a couple of things just so people know.

2. I am talking to the mods of the PC page about completely going separate. Talks are in the early stages, however I am confident we can separate our boards.

3. IL's are now a thing! I've only added a few so far, however I welcome any IL as long as you do a run of it first. I don't want any empty IL's on the board just cause.

yeah, but like quo said. Say positive things about your run, and not negative. For one, saying negative things makes you sound like you don't even think your game deserves to be in, and if that's the case, why submit at all. Secondly, not saying something that is a fact is not the same thing as lying. If I said in my submission that I have WR (which I don't), that would be lying. That does not mean I am going to make a point saying that I do not have WR though. Anyways Sheppard, Don't fret! I've been in multiple marathons, and have also been denied from multiple marathons. My advice is take all the advice you can get, get better at the game (not saying you are bad, just saying no one run in any videogame is perfect), work on your speech, and get in a marathon next time!

can there be a separate category then for sprash any% where spyro 2 is 40 orb and spyro 3 is 100 egg? Like hypno said, spyro 2 and 3 any% are way above my skill level, but 40 orb and 100 egg is something i (along with nearly anyone) is able to accomplish since you don't need to do any glitches for it.

A friend and I would like to start doing co-op runs on xbox 360. However, with xbox we can't completely reset the co-op mode. As such, is it ok for us to start and end time when everyone else does, and do the courses in order, just with all of them unlocked from the start?

In regards to milliseconds, I agree and that will be updated. As for beginning levels from activities, I will double check load times on that later tonight and will update this forum once a decision is made.

unfortunately, no. At least, no one has been able to do so successfully as far as I know of.

I've ran some of Black ops 1 780 kills challenge and plan on doing campaign, but other than that no. I am simply stating if no one who has done a run wishes to be mod, then I can do it. I own every main game except for advanced warfare and infinite warfare. I just don't want there to be a game with no mod in general.
