Thank you for your concern about this run. With the current rule set that we have in place for STFA, the run would be removed, however, when the run was accepted the rule had not been put into place and was grandfathered in through the old ruleset. This run does end up confusing some people since the run was accepted on the same day the rule was put into place. This is due to the fact that the run inspired us to put the rule in place. During the process of accepting there was some talk within the community about this and run and if it should have been approved. In the end, we decided that the run would be approved as the rule was not put in place at the time of the run or when it was submitted as well as the fact that the part that was covered up was an unskippable cut scene and as a result gave us a way to time that portion to make sure it matched up with a regular unobstructed run.
