I've try with psX 1.13, but I met a problem on few fight (no ennemies before me ????). I haven't see problem with epsxe, except input lag (I currently use this one). You can try retroarch emulator.

For another game (FF9), lately, retroarch is accepted (retroarch with ReArmed). And epsxe is not authorized... I don't try to understand the difference between emulator and game^^

Maybe your problem come with the configuration of emulators ? epsxe or psx 1.13 work with others games ?

That crash is a known crash that occurs on the actual physical game as well. What causes it is hitting buttons on the controller during the cut out after entering the door after defeating the skeletons beforehand. This type of glitch actually occurs in a few places and normally people first notice it during the scene where Colette goes to play the horn before recruiting Terra. This game has quite a number of annoying things that can happen in general if you mash buttons too much during any section where there's no dialog but the characters are moving so just keep that in mind when you're running the game.
