For Bio1 I've always had the black boxes issue due to using a dual gpu laptop. On rebirth its only on blood/glass, subtitles and the menu.
Would a run with these issues be accepted to the board?

Yes, a run with the black boxes can be accepted to the boards.

If you haven't already, try updating your graphics drivers. That has fixed the black box issue (alpha rendering issue) for a few people. It's possible it won't work, of course, if you have an older card or something.

My runs have black boxes in them though, too, because I deliberately don't have my drivers updated so that RE4 and Revelations 1 still function properly lol
