Hey all! First game I've decided to learn how to speedrun. Hopefully it helps me get over the spooks RE still gives me ;)

Was wondering, in the rules it mentions that there's no restrictions on weapons. Does that include the Handgun you get from beating the game in under 5 hours?

Cool, so they're allowed to be used, wasn't sure! That seems like it would make NG+ a much easier category than I would have expected, though from what I've seen most people just dodge the hell out of the zombies, which is a skill I need to pick up

Hey hutch welcome! Big daddy pessimism here is the man when it comes to this game. There's still quite a few runners who run this game. If you have questions, never be afraid to ask. NG+ was my first category to start as well. Good luck!

Thanks, Shwick! I just finished my first run of the game, NG+ on Normal but I hadn't unlocked any of the weapons previously. Managed to get a time of 2:02:48, though I didn't record it cause I saved and stopped at least once. Still, really happy with the time and I know of a bunch of places I could improve

Hey bud just know that ng+ runs are done on very easy. Might improve your time a bit.

@Shwick222 are you serious? Haha, I had no idea! That's great, should really cut down on saves and how bad I am at dodging zombies
