What's more important when determining skill. Any%, Glitchless%, or Omega%? I wanna see what people think. (personally I think it's glitchless)

I would say it's omega, because you have to dodge all the enemy fire and also deal with the huge clusters of enemies after you touch the pad

I'd say quests with a lot of skips like crimson, a glitchless time takes more skill. But a quest like golden, there's like one big skip and some tiny skips, glitchless and any% are pretty equal in skill level. The third level in gt is super easy.

I think omega%, cos as Mistake said, you would need to dodge a shit ton of enemies, you know how much pain and stress that one guy went through when Omega%ing Jumbo. I think any% would need to be the least skilled because you can skip some parts and glitch weapons in game.

It depends on the skill in question. Overall skill would have to be any% in my opinion, because you are taking into account a multitude of things (I'll use golden as an example but you all are smart enough to translate this to other quests). There's a certain dedication you must have in order to do skips efficiently (the new act 7 skip especially). There's some amount of dodging enemies and being able to shoot fast and accurately. Your teleports/movements have to be precise and trained. Not to mention it's by far the most competitive category. Omega% is hard but it only trains a select few skills: ability to dodge enemies and ability to shoot fast. There is essentially no other skill required other than that. The fastest shooter dominates in omega because they can shoot an insanely high amount of arrows into a crowd of enemies, which is often the case in omega. Glitch less is essentially any% but its far less competitive and you don't have to know any skips. As for why I spent 10 minutes of Chinese class dedicated to writing the most irrelevant and ridiculous argument for skill measurement I do not know.

I would say it really depends because at the end of the day all a speedrun is is muscle memory so you can spend forever learning a glitcless route and get a good time does that take insane amounts of skill yes but on the other hand you can spend less time learning the any% route and get a good time as well and that also takes insane amounts of skill just a different skill set for example you aren't slamming into your dresser trying to glitchwalk at the speed of light in a glitchless run but you also aren't learning every meticulous spawn pattern for things your skipping in any% and no one should talk about the deep abyss that is omega or at least this stuff has been my experience with running crimson so I guess at the end of the day what's more important when it comes to determining skill is how well people can preform in any of the given categories for example getting a godly time in glitchless is just as skillfull as getting a godly time in omega
