Hi , first if my english is bad sorry , well i am a player of resident evil 5 and me and my friend wanna do speedrun on coop but i think that all consoles on the same categorie is wrong , it would be so much better if is the same way of resident evil 4 . Because is so much better ps3 just with ps3 , it should be different console categories , please it´s unfair play in a ps3 of max of fps is 30 and a ps4 pro is 60 , please i beg you

I can see separating the consoles into new gen and old gen subcategories, because of the FPS affecting the way time is calculated. However, it is still possible to pull off really good times on 360/PS3, even with them being mixed. I will talk to the other mods, get their opinions, then message you a response @farias910

Just my opinion if this get voted by the community: If there is any proof of advantages/disadvantages depending on Console generation (even few seconds) I'm in favour to separate them as @farias910 proposed, if not I would keep them together. I was not aware of any difference. Is this the case @NoVa ?

It may or may not be the case, I'm not super sure. From what I've seen, though, there is a difference between generations
Additionally to be noted, if FPS is really an issue, probably XboxOneX/PS4Pro have advantages against XboxOne/PS4 as well.
@RapixOnGaming yes they will have , because the ps4 pro and xbox one x have more porwer and have more stability , but ps3 and xbox 360 don´t stay so much in 30 fps , and ps4, xbox one can get 60 fps , but ps4 pro and xbox one x can stay in 60 fps ,
@RapixOnGaming i use my ps3 and there a lot of times that is lag on the game , it is not necessary a part of much enemies and the fps is not 30 , the new generation (ps4 , xbox one ) have 60 fps , this is so over in comparassion with the old generation , this the motive that i asked to take the old generation in one category and the new in another
Console doesnt see much activity in the first place so i cant see the point in adding additional subcats just for console, thats just going to make the board look messy

Frame rate potentiality of a console and actual frame rate for a game on a console are two different things.
For example, Resident Evil Zero is capped at 30FPS, no matter the console. Basically RE0 runs at 30FPS on PS3, Xbox360, PS4, XboxOne, PS4Pro and XboxOneX. Meaning no run has disadvantage. I don't know if it is the same for RE5, it might be but I don't know, that's why I asked @NoVa. if RE5 has a new better HD graphic on new console it doesn't mean that FPS is not capped at the same level than the old gen, so there may be no disadvantage.
@Lonne The beauty of a leaderbaord is not important and not even the amount of submissions, fairness and compete on a level playing field is what matters. If there is a new PS3 runner, it's important he has it's leaderboard to compete equally. We need to make sure the current leaderbaord it is already.
