hey guys just wondering, is the run invalid if i have a mod that just has Leon keeping his jacket for the whole game? i was interested in getting this mod but don't want to ruin the chances of getting my runs submitted

Any kind of modification made by a third party is to give another game experience, applying in speedruns will generate controversy.
(Whether it has access to information not visible by the player, adding content taken from alpha or beta versions, changing the appearance of characters, texture packages, new mechanics, new animations, use of turbo and macros buttons).

Avoid making changes to the game so you don't have a bad view of other viewers, let's choose originality.

Play by the standards that game offers you.

Any modification can invalidate your run so I recommend you do not use it, even if it is any.
