Using the mod only changes the resolution, disabling all other advantages. Would it be possible to use it just to lower the resolution?
Would be nice if there was a separate category for HDmod/Tweaks given the game is 10x more fun with real mouse control and would certainly be faster.
There was a category for it on https://www.speedrun.com/re4ce but it was removed since nobody ran it (it had only a single run after more than a year of existing). Besides that, it's extremely complicated to come up with some kind of fair ruleset for the mod given how many cheaty features it has. This also makes verifying runs for it very annoying on top of it.
That makes sense. There would have to be a lot of stipulations and pre-run setup validation so I can understand why no one wants to go through that hassle for such a niche category. Anyway hope I didn't come off as too snarky!
