Hi guys. I've been running RE2 remake of a couple of days now, and I am having a lot of problems with the last Mr X, right before game ending. Is there any consistent strat to beat him?

The strat is that you need to be near his left (not the mutated) hand just like you glued to it this will cause miss all of his attacks. Just don't run and beware of the cement blocks which fall later as he can hit them and you will get AOE damage. There is guide by Orchlon on youtube you might want to check it out.
