Does anyone know how to permanently disable aim assist in Assisted difficulty? It's disabled in the options at the menu, but when I start a game in assisted it enables it and then I can disable it again, but next time I start I have to disable it again. It has lost me time on a few occasions trying to aim precise rockets.

Iv'e looked into this as well and as far as i can tell there isn't but maybe someone more tech savvy can come enlighten us.

I think its a ”bar” for how strong it is on targets. If you lowering it to the bottom i think its off and that setting is saved. For me on xbox it feels off when i have at lowest atleast. But that is mby only me

On PC there is no bar its just a checkbox but it doesnt seem to turn off on assisted which is really annoying when the games fighting against your precise rocket shots like shooting to the left of G1 to avoid getting stuck in the shielding animation its super annoying.

The bar isn't aim assist, it's aim deceleration. As in, the game will slow your reticle down as you move over targets to make it harder for your aim to slip off of them. I believe this is available even in Standard/Hardcore, as the slider.

'Aim Assist' is when the game will automatically pull you to the head of a zombie and keep your reticle there. Not to be confused with the above.

When you actually start your run, try pause the game and disable it in the options.

you can turn it off on assisted, you just have to do it every time you start a run which is annoying AF.

Ahhh ok i play on controller on pc to sometimes but never on assisted so dont know.
