I have started to speedrun RE2R very recently and I tried to use LiveSplit or SRT. At first both didn't work because my game had RT update. I went to Steam/property/Betas and I chose the dx11-non rt. LS and SRT worked !! I decided to do a run while it was working. Now it's broken again, the timer doesn't start for neither LiveSplit nor SRT. I didn't change a thing in my settings. Can someone please help me, thanks.
Pretty sure 2R had some small patch or two in the past day, my SRT is also down, haven't checked my splits tho, when i tried to downpatch to run the old SRT, the game wouldn't launch at all lmao
I deactivated and activated just in case but still didn't work. I know the game uses IGT but I think LiveSplit it's still useful to see where I can improve. But if it keeps not working, I'll do without it.
LiveSplit worked three or four days ago. If there was an update in the meantime, it's so unlucky. Maybe if I downpatch the game it will work again, I'll have to search. I hope you'll be able to play the game again.

Livesplit was working for me last night, my game updated about 3 hours ago and is now not working at all.
I had just installed livesplit and was doing runs for 8 hours all last night. Hop on today and all of a sudden my timer wont start. Not sure what happened.
yea, so 2R had a patch extremely recently, that broke an srt or two and the auto splitter, the current quick fix is to downpatch, the autosplitter will probably be updated at some point to work with the new patch tho, but if you want it to work now and or use srt, to downpatch, all you have to do is go in the game files, delete the patch pak 007 file, replace the re2 exe file with the one from this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iYUh40cGS_XZli5dA9Fu0yCqB8gKkGBt/view and the auto splitter and old srt should work perfectly fine [SRT Host is still down tho, from my knowledge]
