Yo, I'm new to speedrunning RE2, and I'm looking to get my PC speedrun time to sub 1hr. Anyone have any tips on boss manipulation? Also I saw somewhere that you can do a certain input to cancel out the recoil on guns. How is this done? Any info on this would be much appreciated.
Your weapon will do its maximum damage if your closer to a boss. For G-Embryo you wanna run against the rail until a certain point. To close and he will be able to hit you, to far away and you wont get the 6 shot G-Embryo. If your quickshooting is on point then Leon will push away the smaller embryos by himself without taking any damage.

Edit: another place where new runners are wasting ALOT of time is on the doors. Try to skip them after the door handle has turned completely insteed of skipping it immediately. :)
