hi im interested in running the DS version but im just curious about the screen layout when i record a run is it mandatory to have the map screen on the run or are you allowed to just have a one lcd screen (the actual gameplay screen)as long as it shows the inputs ?

The map screen shows the final time, so yes both are mandatory.
