Often times while doing full game runs the course doesn't load in resulting in the timer already starting before the map is even loaded in. I was wondering if its ok to go to not racing and retry if this happens. One time I lost 15 seconds to it and it's very annoying to keep reseting.

I guess so. As long as you aren't quitting out of a track after it has started, then you should be fine.
