Just a thought, I know this thread is old, but would a potential Discord server be a good idea?

We have all Gauntlets, and we have All Tournament levels. I remember a few years ago suggesting a sort of Unlock Arena Editor category. But, what about 100%. Given the mechanics of the game, it would be defined as:

• Get all trophies
• Unlock 5 Gold parts
• Using Multiplayer Grudge Match is banned

Getting all trophies unlocks all the unlockables, regardless of the GLADIATOR or SCRAP METAL cheats. There is an option to have this run be split into "Cheatless" and "Cheats Legal" too (especially if the GLADIATOR code works, which means you could just go through each game mode one by one instead of having to swap between modes to unlock stages).

I didn't add "Unlock all All-Star Robots" or "Unlock all Spoils" to the list of requirements, since they are unlocked with the trophies, which cannot be unlocked via cheats.

Thoughts? I want to get back into this, and it could be interesting to have gamemodes here similar to the other Robot Wars Games on here

So, I was practising so that I could try and take back the crown, and had a bit of a thought with the rules. The rules are quite vague in when to start and stop, so two things could be done.

1. Runner has already unlocked other difficulties
2. Runner could build a robot using cheat codes

While both don't break the game per-se, this can also have some other effect. I was wondering if this would work as a change to the rules, to not only make it clearer, but also so the rules are brought in line with more popular runs:

"Timing starts upon selecting the "Bronze" Difficulty and ends upon defeating Sir Killalot Timing is done in RTA Having any other difficulty unlocked disqualifies the run. Any cheat code is allowed, as these don't cause skips. The use of any robot is allowed You may swap robots between difficulties."

Thoughts?

(Yes, I know this would mean the time on my submitted run would be shortened a bit by about 3 minutes, but this is the best way to keep the current run the same without affecting the current WR)

No idea about the fifth, I only remember ever getting 4. It might have something to do with the Gauntlet mode, but IDK.

I would like to see a speedrun category where you have to unlock the Arena Editor mode (without using the arena unlock cheat GLADIATOR, however any other cheat is fair game if they want to use it). Timing would start upon accepting "new game" and ends when you unlock Arena Editor after unlocking all the stages, and any robot can be used to complete the run.
