Hi Jaywaaking,
A fellow Jay in the house! :P Haha jk.
Thank you for your post, if you could explain a little bit about the early level skip potion and what it does we can make a decision on the useage!
Thank you!
Great runs by the way.
Best, Jay
Hi RenegadeInc!
I missed this forum post! The rules for the All Maps Solo are as follows : Mandatory Guidelines:
- Host each game with default settings (Must be shown): Strokes - 12 Time Limit - 2:00m Game Mode - Classic Tick Rate - 8 Collision - Off Spectator - Off
2)Timer starts on "Start Match". Timer ends once the ball enters the final hole on the final map on hole 18. (Maps can be played in any order) . 3) All at least 89 holes must be completed for a run to count (You are allowed one overstroke, or loss of time on a single hole). If stroke limit of 12 is reached, or timer of 2:00 hole runs out on more than 1 hole the run will not count.
4)Must be played solo.
The runs you have submitted follow these rules nicely. Keep up the good running!
Best,
Jaychalke
Thats a great process Cutty!
Great work!
And hello everyone, long time no chat, I've been busy working in Germany. I'm still here chilling in the background ! ?
Hope all is well.

Hello everyone, I'm a little late on the response here. Sorry about that. Showing the difficulty at ANY point in the run is fine as long as it is shown :)
Nathan,
That's my problem as well. Knowing there is a strategy available but not using it. haha
I appreciate your thoughts. It's good to talk about these things. :)

Heyy,
Personally I'm conflicted greatly on this topic. On one hand this is a "Speedrunning" site and reaching your goal (in this case a certain rice count) should be acquirable through any means necessary. On the other hand, it takes away from those who will never use fast-clicking as a strategy (me for example). Again, as this strategy is only applicable in the 100 grains runs it will only affect the 100 grain runs ensuring the 1,000 and 10,000 runs are safe. (100 grain runs might might be more popular in the future too). I'd make the argument for making no fast-click categories but that could possibly junk up the site in terms of more categories on a site that already has (amazingly so) a lot of categories. I'm up for anything really, I'm just enjoying that we are all coming together to raise our rice counts for a greater cause and Oxknifer is the pioneer for bringing this together. What a fantastic idea right? Bring a sense of competitiveness into Freerice.com bringing runners from all over the world, USA, Singapore, Wales, etc to continuously battle for WR while raising insane amounts of rice (only to skyrocket as more popularity brings more runners). It's special. The real Rice-God is Oxknifer

Hello!
Just looking through and notice none of the categories have any rules defined. That would be greatly appreciated and would probably bring in a lot of new runners! :)
Thanks,
Jaychalke
Hello Everyone!
We have had a few runners join us in the past few days. This is great!
A few things:
Just in the spirit of ensuring that all runs are legit. (This goes for myself as well). All X Goal category runs MUST start with main screen difficulty being shown. Most of my runs, and other runs do not show this. I feel we are a great community and wouldn't cheat each other, but to ensure no one submits a Pro for an All-Star (as they are sometimes difficult to tell the difference) this will be a new requirement. If anyone has any complaints about runs that are posted as of now please post here, but from now on we will only accept runs that show the difficult at the beginning!
Thank you very much!
Best,
Jaychalke
Bumping this post! New runners join the Speedrunning free rice group link above! Also be sure you have the group selected (clicking play) so that rice gains are recorded for our group so we can keep track as a community. Glad to have you all here with us supporting a great cause while having fun! :)
