I don't know if it is true, but start at the very left corner of the window and do it, for me it works like 80% of the time/
Yeah waiting for a moderator to respond to this.
I recently installed it and was testing it out and I feel like it makes my life easier in games like Arsenal and crap but is it allowed for speedrunning categories in this or no?
Wow! Thanks IUNABYTE. New discovery slightly faster times! Maybe a 3:15 is possible with the most perfect movement ever and the box saves. I actually feel like speedrunning Glitchless% again and going for sub 3:20.
Oh, I know, but someone put in that trainstation2 doesn't have anything for doors and I just wanted to point that out.
It actually has ONE set of doors that is slightly helpful. After the cup part continue forward for a bit, and the door with the guard blocking it can open after doing doors in console commands. It might save two or three or so seconds. Really, that's it.
One part that may affect you is the fencing part. You have to smoothly transition from crouch hopping from right to left and what not which will make it faster by like a second are two. Another reason might be the "gate" or whatever it's called right after the train, you want to crouch jump/crouch hop through it and not stand and walk through. You can use the walking NPC as a guide as he is walking straight through it. Also, dunno if you do this, but you can jump on just the crates at the end of the level to jump through the window, no problem. That's really all the tips I can give you. Also keep jumping as much as you can on the ladder it'll be faster by like, a small margin.
Yeah not much else then to do, you have to do it. I feel like the devs could've added a skip cutscene button, but then that'd probably mess up the train part and can part throughout. Plus you have to wait like 29.35-29.50 like seconds on train so it's not that bad.
You can skip it in any% and doors%.
I mean you could keep retrying it for a while cause you can start at level 2 and get used to it, so with that power in your hands, practice it and make it go faster. What I kept doing at the train part cause my first few train runs were complete shit until my new uploaded run that hasn't been accepted.
Oh, at the last one, I mean it might be worth it. I'll study into it for a bit, I usually don't wanna try it cause I can't get the height off right but I've seen a few runs now and I can sometimes hit it now.
Uhh... could you explain what the ladder skip is and which one it works for?
Okay, I found it out since that time and it's not holding it down like, long long after the horn.
Everytime I do trainclip I'm stuck, not even able to move, on the train with G-Man. Other times I get stuck directly in the cart behind. Or there is a white screen. What am I doing wrong?
The MS part is wrong, I put 034, it's supposed to be 340. My mistake wanted to point it out but I don't know how to edit runs to fix it so putting it in forums.
Ah, alright then. Thanks for telling me least.
Would changing your FOV in Console Commands still be able to count as it doesn't affect the core gameplay just what you see? I feel like this is the only command that should be perfectly allowed, but then again, I'll leave it up to the moderators (BoredBlaby, pr0lert, zir0nic, BigBang, JollyzV2, and Watermelon_Doggo)
