Hi there !
I came up with an interesting idea (i think) which is doing a 16 star run without performing any wallkick ! This is more than a regular 16 star run since some stars are impossible / too slow to reach without a wallkick ( Wall kicks will work, Watch for rolling rocks, A-Maze-ing Emergency Exit etc...) and some stars need a new approach ( Dark World Reds, Shoot in the Wild Blue, Red Hot Log Rolling etc...).
I tried to create an ideal route but there are probably a lot of things to improve. Here is the video of my current PB on this category, it may help to understand differences and stuff :

good idea but suddenly why not the 1 star the 0 star and the 70 star (120 star I don't think it's possible)
Finally ! You posted this category. Nice idea. The routing is really interesting. I can't wait to have a leaderboard for this category.
indeed there is a chance that is posible 120 stars without wallkicks, idk in all case can be interesting to improve
also curious fact that 3/4 of this chat is from france territory lol (just curious)

@KilleDragon @Xein64 Yeah we could create a 70 or 120 star category if people are interested with the general idea (we have to check if 120 is doable without wallkicks tho).
And yeah most of the chat here is french because they support my idea (I'm French too, it makes sense ^^).
decided to do a test run of this and it's an interesting category. Definitely changes things up and forces you to look at the game almost entirely differently.

Great idea! I might try some testing to see which stars are possible or not possible for 120 star.
