Should there be a category extensions to MK8. Examples of categorys in it: 50 and 100cc grand prix, 3 stars for each cup on a certain cc, and more(gotta think about it.)
Brendan that's not gonna happen. There has been an uncountable amount of times this has been brought up. Just check other threads to see how other people thought of it. I disagree as well. 100 and 50 cc adds no new skill which makes it therefore stupid and utterly pointless altogether.
There is no reason why 50cc and 100cc need to be added. It doesn't add anything more.

TheGamerDoug's comment pretty much summarizes it, 50cc and 100cc add more of the same to the game but slower. I really doubt those categories will see use in Speedrun.com. Gameplay variants of 150cc or 200cc, on the other hand...
But yeah, this subject feels overdone by now. There's a few other threads that discussed this subject before, please give them a look as well. Thanks. :P
On the point of categories, however, I am interested; Why are there not IL leaderboards for this game?

How many times will a question like "can we are 100 and 50cc" or where is the il leaderboard? Look at the other dozen of forums that address this!
MKWRs is not the reason that TT leaderboards don't exist on SRC. The reason is the Players' Page, which you can find here ( http://www.mariokartplayers.com/mk8/ ) or via the "Website / Wikipedia" link in the sidebar.
We should add inward bikes category, outward bikes category, quad category, kart category, monster wheels category, side wheels,and small wheels category. LightWeight category, middle weight category and heavyweight category. Renegade roundup. 2p category. npc category. Npc category is when all npcs end the race and you are last backwards category as in going backwards in the right way. Driftless category and lose your coins after every lap category and that’s it.
I was thinking of Gold%. That is beating 48 or 32 tracks (that's to the mods' choice) with the golden combination: Gold Kart, Wheels, Glider and Mario.
