Hey guys, should I make some save files so it is easier to run the other years without re-doing all previous years to get to that point?

That basically means if you reset you need to quit the game, replace the save file and you can continue that year again. (So it is saved before the year begins.)

I have already uploaded saved games in Resources ;)

I saw it was 1-4 free play, so I thought you could not use them for the story mode level leaderboards. Looks I am wrong? Haha

in the uploaded savefile you can do "story mode again" for each level

i also earlier wondered, why everbody is running an "individual year - story mode" always with the hogwarts stuff and not just re-does the single levels

the rules aint that specific, so to get a better time you simply could re-do the stages...

Wait, that means the years do not include learning all the spells, does it? That doesn't really sound all to fair.

Replaying only the levels in Replay Story Mode is what's known as New Game+, if you're really interested in doing a run of it, I wouldn't mind adding it.

Just because the rules don't determine something else, doesn't mean you can just go ahead and do it. Enquiring about the rules is the best way to go, that way you won't be disappointed when your run is rejected.

Yeah, I also thought it was NG+ in that way. Since you can skip hell of a lot in just doing the 6 levels instead of a full year.

My idea was making save files in front of year 2, 3, 4, 6, 7-1 and 7-2 so everybody can just focus on doing NG storymode of each specific year.

I did not include Year 1 and year 5 because those are literally the beginning of the game.
