ToRRent noticed that the WR time is using the AE86 mod in his run. Are Mods allowed in Any%?

Well I can't answer as I'm not a mod, but as I said I didn't use any. And that would be a complete bs to allow them tho
ToRRent was asking about the mod relevance in a run, not about a use in the actual WR. You may have jumped on that conclusion. That should be obvious the any% category is meant to be run on a vanilla game.
That's not what he told me, so it's not "me jumping on a conclusion". I got a message clearly saying that "WR is using AE86 mod in his run".
Well he was wrong, unless the game automaticly installed an unofficial mod by itself which I highly doubt
