GameModule file was patched, that you will be able to boot up the game on every new OS - added also 60 fps patch and QOL patch which you can edit and change in-game settings, such as resolutions, FOV, activate windowed mode etc.

After clicking glob icon on the main XXL speedrunning site you will be transferred to the google drive folder where you will be able to find all original xxl games such as xxl 1, xxl 2 and og as well as recent version of hd remakes such as XXL 2 HD and XXL Romastered.

Before starting speedrunning make sure that you downloaded all patches and fixes thanks to game will work on stable 60 fps (30 fps performance fix) and trick called "tardis" (crate teleportation in Greece) will be possible / stable (64 bit patch and qol patch). You can also download intro cutsceneless save file and use first slot for full speedruns / other three slots for level% runs. Every of this you can find in Resources tab.

How to play the game on linux

1. Download & install wine from https://www.winehq.org/download

2. Create a 32 bit wine prefix alias wine_prefix='WINEPREFIX=~/.wine32 WINEARCH=win32'

3. Add dsdmo dll wine_prefix winetricks dsdmo

4. Start wine_prefix wine Asterix.exe​
