It wouldn't work since events are temporary so when the record is set and the event ends it will be permanent
I agree with bright here events would only be here for like 2-6 months which is little time to speedrun something so no lets not.
Golden's fate is undetermined right now. It was once a difficulty for quite a bit, but since it was removed and we got quite a few golden runs it would be better for the time just to keep them there. I assume if golden mode continues to not be in the game it'll be removed but who knows.
