Banning Unscrew from Speedruns.

I do agree with dark on this one, we ARE trying to beat this game as fast as possible on any category that's given here, while you may think Unscrew is a bit unfair, you have to consider that the odds of either Unscrew 1 and 2 killing a boss along with all of the Reaper bytes have a 1/2000 chance of killing bosses, that's the equivalent of a 0.0005% chance of ever hitting and that would be considered an extremely rare case of perfect RNG, not to mention the thousands upon thousands of attempts to ever kill any of the major bosses with unscrew like Chipper and Rainbow. Killing every single boss in the game with unscrew would considered to be TAS level RNG and that's IF you ever got the lowest possible chance of Unscrew working every time. Of all of the bosses that you HAVE to face in FNaF World between all of the categories (meaning any boss that's necessary for progression in the run ONLY!) in total which I presume to be 26 combined with the 0.0005% chance of Unscrew hitting with bosses, in short, the percentage of being able to hit all 26 bosses with Unscrew without missing is a 0.00001923076% chance which is near to impossible to have that happen in a single run. I would factor Unscrew being the heaviest RNG move in the whole game that will definitely make runs a lot more stressful and sometimes not worth in the future but it's necessary if we're gonna be able to hit the mark of having the fastest time possible in a single run even if you was trying to 100% optimize every single category up to date so we got a looooong way to go before we ever even get close to reaching that mark. I hope that sums up the point :)

I definitely understand where you're coming from, but our goal as runners is to beat the game as soon as possible. There are cases where taking out a super fast method of the game is necessary, like the tent glitch in the original version. But Unscrew doesn't take out the entire run. It's a part of it, but unlike the tent glitch, skill is still a requirement to get through the run efficiently. I still understand where you are coming from, but until discussion of an any% category take place, Unscrew will most likely stay in most runs.

I really don't like how I worded this before, so I put a bit more thought into it. Take two.

This doesn't destroy the rest of the run. It replaces the fight with security with a much faster method. ONLY the security fight. It's just a faster method, not a game breaking one. For example, when the Fredbear skip was introduced, similar arguments could be used to the one shown here. However, we still have the Fredbear skip.

I'll keep this one shorter, as I would mostly repeat myself otherwise. ~puppyguy9

Well, if there could be similar arguments to getting rid of Fredbear skip, why not have a No Skips and/or Glitchless% categories? It would favor both parties as one side can keep the skips and the other can do a category that negates them, but I don't know what I could think of that can negate using specific moves in a run, kinda like Nuzlocke where you can't use Giftboxes except for the chip since the chip is not a "move" and more of an accessory like an RPG but it's something you can consider and think about when you get around to it.
