Use of kit-kat-slim

Hello, I’ve been considering doing full game runs of LM3D for a while. Unfortunately, I don’t own a capture card, and my only other method of recording would be with my phone. There’s a few problems with this, though.

A.) my phone doesn’t exactly have enough storage for anything over an hour.

B.) uploading the video from there would be virtually impossible.

C.) the position I would have to be in to record it would be very uncomfortable.

I have considered one other option, though. There is a Homebrew application called kit-kat-slim that records 3DS games via wifi streaming. No cords or cameras! I wanted to know if this is legal for runs.

See this thread; https://www.speedrun.com/lm3ds/thread/8fmky - In short, you will get 20 seconds added back to your submitted time because of the faster loading screens. 100% right now is still banned from using NTR. (NTR is required to stream from a 3DS, however NTR is overclocking its hardware to do so which affects every 3DS game and I would assume VC titles).

All the PC programs will operate nearly the same, but I recommend using snickerstream because it is better supported by its developer and is quite good.

Snickerstream disconnects a lot for me.

Whatever works for you is fine, the applications themselves won't make any difference as long as both screens are shown.
