Set the notifications to email you and then use the app IFTTT (If this then that) and you can have it send you a push notification whenever you get an email. There is more elaborate ways to set it up using IFTTT but that would be the lazy way and would work well. Also, you can just have something like Gmail on your phone and that sends notifications when you get an email. There are lot's of ways to do it and I am sure if you try you can get something nice working with IFTTT.
