so i wanted to run the game and the only problem is i dont have the pc version or the ps1 version cause the cost of the copys are very high. Would it be okay to run the game if im using an emulator?

Emulator runs are allowed, correct. You can see some runs submitted for PS1 emulator. I'd personally recommend using ePSXe, 1.90 or newer version.
