Visibility Category Extensions

Is there a way to give a Category Extensions page more visibility by linking it to the homepage of the main game page somehow? Right now, I cannot seem to find any option to make it stand out in a way on the main page.

For example, having an option underneath "Discord" or "Website" that says: "Category Extensions" where you can fill in the URL of the actual Category Extensions page would be a good solution I think.

Category extensions are already a bandaid, I'd rather they got rid of them and made a place right where they belong - on the actual leaderboard page. (but that's a far way off)

.. Well I requested them for a reason. I do not mean for this thread to turn into a discussion as to why a Category Extension should or should not exist within a leaderboard. My only question was if there is a way to generate more exposure by somehow showing a direct link to it on the main page of the game.

Welp, if certain people do not even see use in having Category extension leaderboards. I do not think the feature to present them on the main page is a good idea.

Otherwise in my opinion you should add EVERY game type to the main page. If we add Category extensions, atleast add the others lol Expansion/DLC, Fangame, ROM Hack, Webgame etc etc

I think the filters do a great job /shrug https://www.speedrun.com/games#gametype=8&sorting=playerCount&direction_sort=on

What is considered useful to have on Leaderboards is different per community. So I have zero clue as to why you are referring in general about "people" while the opinions about having Category Extensions are obviously divided. And if Filters are the only way to view an Extension page that would still would not be a "direct link" from out of the actual game its supposed to extend.

Currently no way to show a link to extensions in the side-bar.

Making a thread and stickying would probably be the best way for now.

I think the having it as an optional thing like the Discord link is, is what was meant. Since the Discord link is an option.

Yes, that was established 2 months ago. And Liv said there was no way to do it.
