WR run deleted by the speedrunner (?)?

Hello. Recently the moderator team of one game I am moderator of have done a reorganization of the leaderboards. After it, however, while moving all runs to different category, one of them that was former World Record disappeared.

I checked what could've happened and it appears that the run was deleted. No of us, moderators, deleted any runs, so the user must've deleted it some time ago, but even yesterday I remember it appearing on the leaderboard.

Is it possible to somehow know the time which was submitted by the speedrunner? Audit Log is not helpful enough, because apart from being a proof that this kind of run actually existed, the link that was attached to that run doesn't work anymore.

My point is that it would be cool to include this result as a historical entry.

From the way you've described it, and the audit log being no good, try finding the runner's channel or reaching out to them about the video. If the run was definitely deleted rather than lost in the re-organisation then the record holder probably doesn't want it on the leaderboard anymore/deleted their account.

Fortunately, everything ended positively. While the proof was no longer availble, since the run had been deleted, I managed to recreate that entry with the informations appearing in Audit Log and... by searching for this run on Google. I remember it had exactly the same time (I used to check the leaderboards of the game I'm talking about months before I started moderating it), but I just wanted to be assured about it and check miliseconds (I remembered only minutes and seconds, since it was a World Record run, but not miliseconds, unfortunately).

I was really surprised that the entry of it was still visible on Google search engine, even though the run had been deleted and that the link to it did not have the informations displayed in the entry on the list of results after searching up this run on Google. :D

I respect the decision of a speedrunner to delete the run, however it was a World Record that was once verified and appeared on the leaderboards. Having it not being even mentioned as a historical entry would be harmful for the leaderboard, if you ask me. That's why I sent a private message to the speedrunner, explaining the whole situation and saying that if they want me to delete the entry even as a historical entry, then I will do it of course.

Anyway, thank you for your help! I'm glad that everything ended up with a happy ending, hehe. :)
