I think that there is a rule missing in both the any% and 100% categories, but I am unsure of how to contact the mods to ask about it.

You should add a rule that says, "No Editing Your Save File"

Pretty much what Harpy said, If I were to do an any% run and start the timer appropriately, I could then close the game edit my config file to have infinite money and be on the final day. I could also do this with 100% then buy everything on the final night. I think we either need to outlaw it, or make a separate category.

I don't think we need to add anything else in the rules. I mean, if a person who will run this game is smart, they would know that modifying the save file to get more money would get the run rejected. So no need to be so sensitive.

I would argue that based on the rules it should be allowed. Why would it be rejected, it meets all the criteria as a valid run.

Yeah, it says "Beat the game as fast as possible". They had to do it with Super Mario World 11 Exit. They had to add no ACEs (Arbitrary Code Execution)

I remember that lol SethBling said they needed an ACE rule and no one listened, so he submitted an ACE run to force their hand a bit
