System Shock 2 - any% rules

Beat the game. Timing starts on loading of EARTH.mis (the first time that you can start buffering inputs) and ends when the SHODAN cutscene plays. Menuing commands (e.g. quickuse 3 when no Tier 2 or 4 Psi Powers are unlocked) are allowed. Cheat codes (e.g. ubermensch, add_pool 1000, summon_obj speed boost) are banned. Loading a file that was not created during timing (e.g. loading a file that puts you in an otherwise inaccessible location to set up a remote frob) is banned. All versions of the game are allowed. Model modifications (e.g. System Shock Rebirth) are banned. A major component of the speedrun is Dark Engine's bounciness allowing you to skip certain parts, and makes you avoid bouncing on enemies and undesirable level geometry, and model modifications can give players who modify models a clear advantage. Modifying textures is allowed, with the exception of ovm005.pcx, ovm015.pcx, the To Shuttle Control object, and the To Bridge object. The first two are necessary for precise out of bounds tricks in Body of the Many, giving players who modify those two textures to, say, add markers, a clear advantage, and the last two are needed for a slightly less precise out-of-bounds trick in Command.

System Shock 2 - All Modules, No Glitches, Impossible Difficulty rules Beat the game. You must pick up all 875 cyber modules in the game, as well as receiving the Naturally Able O/S Upgrade to get the last 8 in the game. Timing starts on loading of EARTH.mis (the first time that you can start buffering inputs) and ends when the SHODAN cutscene plays. This includes the cyber modules on Delacroix's body, receiving SHODAN's punishment for interacting with her body is neither required nor banned. You must start with the difficulty on Impossible and not change it throughout the run for any reason. Remote frobbing (e.g. using quickloading to frob the Ops Override through the window) is banned. Invincibility/"Dead Man Walking" is banned. Going out of bounds for any reason is banned. Using Relocation to lean through doors (e.g. leaning through the elevator in Recreation to skip reprogramming the sim units and turning on the transmitter) is banned. Breaking room loading triggers to grind stats during character creation is banned. Avoiding the trigger for the Body of the Many cutscene in Engineering is allowed. Skipping the SHODAN cutscene in Operations (both the wall-block method and the wall spitting-out method) are allowed. Jumping over the trigger for the Anatoly Korenchkin fight is allowed. Model modifications (e.g. System Shock Rebirth) are banned. Have i missed something? Is this too long-winded? I'm willing to bet these can be made better but I'm tired of people on systemshock.org saying they can like load a save at the shodan fight or use cheats to warp to maps, so we may as well have proper rules.

Sorry for the late response. Your rules for the All Modules, No Glitches, Impossible Difficulty run are spot on as far as I'm concerned. Essentially, using glitches is forbidden, but using exploits to save time are allowed. That's why the cutscene skips are allowed, because they don't affect gameplay in any way. When it comes to the Anatoly Korenchkin fight skip, I'm still up in the air about it considering it skips a fight, but I'll leave it up to the community at large to decide if it's okay or not.
