What I have learned about Stage Storage so far

So the glitch works because of an oversight by the developers. In order to make the transitions smoother during fade-outs, they kept the game running during the first couple frames of loading screens. So by exiting to the main menu and loading up a stage during the last couple frames of fade-out, you can store the stage, hence the name Stage Storage, and put it in the main menu. Here you can actually play the level, but returning back to the game will result in crash, that is, unless you A, reset. B, go to the Impossible Challenge, or C, exit the game. Doing any of those will reset the glitch, except for A. If you do A, you will return to a version of the tutorial and the selected level (except 2D stages and I believe FPS stages as well). Completing this version of the tutorial will result in nothing. It loads a regular game (I think). But for some reason, the game behaves weirdly with the TV level. It goes flying (as you saw in my video where I discovered the glitch). This glitch only works on stages. It doesn’t work on wires, computers, and other loading screen type behaviors. If you die in a fake tutorial level (except the first one) it softlocks the game and you have to close the game. Upon returning to the game, you will notice that everything is normal (by normal, I mean a clean save file).
