Wii Sports Resort | All Sports Guide For Beginners (Written)

Note: I play the sports out-of-order so that if I mess up early on, I can just reset without waiting until the end. You have to end with skydiving though. If you want to see a video with the route described with frisbee golf and golf as 2 first sports, see GhostT12547's former world record video;

1 - Frisbee Golf

For Frisbee golf, you want to play Classic B in 3 holes. This course is the fastest.

When you are about to make your first shot, keep in mind of how strong the wind is and in what direction it is going in.

1-3 MPH is a light wind

4-6 MPH is medium wind

7-10 MPH is heavy wind

The heavier the wind, the more you want to shoot in the other direction to compensate.

You can exit the level right after your Frisbee goes in the cylinder on the 3rd hole.

2 - Golf

For golf, you want to play Classic A in 3 holes.

The same wind principle applies to golf but it has a little bit less effect on the ball rather than the Frisbee.

You don't really ever want to hit it too hard or else your shot will go out of control.

It's good to have the blue bar as close to the top as possible without it going red.

You can exit the level right after the ball goes in the hole on the 3rd hole.

3 - Swordplay

For swordplay, make sure that the Mii that you're using is at Level 0 or else you will face a harder opponent.

The strategy is to swing your sword as fast as you can in the same direction as the opponent.

For example: If your opponents sword is vertical, yours should be too.

You can exit the level right after the opponent falls of the edge of the stage.

4 - Table Tennis

For table tennis, your Mii needs to be level 0.

The strategy is to put as much spin on the ball as possible.

Also, hit the ball on the opposite side of the table of where the opponent is.

You can exit the stage right after it says “Second Bounce” on your 6th point.

5 - Basketball

For basketball, you want to choose 3-Point Contest.

The strategy is to get 5 points before the third rack.

If you don't, a dialog comes up and you lose a few seconds.

After the third rack, you can start to miss every shot.

You can exit the stage right after the ball leaves your hands for the last shot

6 - Bowling

For bowling, you have to choose standard game.

The strategy is to bowl the ball as fast as possible and try to get a strike.

If you don't get a strike for your first shot, you can just throw the ball as fast as you can for the second.

A spare and two misses are almost exactly the same amount of time.

You can exit the stage right after you shoot the bowling ball on the last shot.

7 - Canoeing

For canoeing, you have to choose beginner.

The strategy is to stay as close to the left wall as possible until you hit the green cluster of lily pads,
you can just go around it.

You can exit the stage right after you cross the finish line and it says “Finish”.

8 - Archery

For archery, it's gonna ask you to calibrate Wii MotionPlus, just press on
“Stop Wii MotionPlus Calibration” and then “Cancel”.

Then choose beginner.

The strategy is to hit the ground as close to you as possible so that the arrow travels for less time.

You can exit the stage right after the arrow leaves your bow on the 3rd shot in the 4th level.

9 - Power Cruising

For power cruising, you have to choose Marina.

The strategy is to start off in the center, then when the track starts to bend to the left,
go through that gap outside of the track.

It's gonna count from 3 so make sure that you aren't outside of the track when it says 1.

You can exit the stage right after you cross the finish line and it says “Finish”

10 - Cycling

For cycling, you have to choose “1-Stage Race”, then “To the Beach”

The strategy is to not run out of hearts and draft behind people to regain them quicker.

You can exit the stage right after you cross the finish line and it says “Finish”

11 - Wake boarding

For wake boarding, you need to choose beginner.

There is no strategy since it's timer based! You can just sit back for a couple of minutes.

You can exit the stage right after you cross the finish line and it says “Finish”

12 - Skydiving

For skydiving, the strategy is to keep your Mii as vertical as possible (Standing up position).

Even if your Mii is vertical, that does not mean that your Wiimote is so adjust it accordingly.

Timing ends after the shutter closes on the camera.
