PLEASE i need to know this!

Timing starts at the main menu and ends when the last enemy is defeated in level 12 for the full game category, and it starts at movement and ends when the last enemy is defeated in ILs.

Added these timings to the rules

Can we please specify on the rules that enemy defeated means when it disapears and not when it explodes ? I had to watch an existing run to figure out. :)

I think I need some clarification as well as far as time starting at the menu. As soon as you power on the console or hit reset, or do the equivalent in your emulator, the menu scrolls up from the bottom until it takes up the whole screen. But you can also press Start to make it instantly go to the top and take up the whole screen instead of waiting for it to scroll. So at what point does time start exactly? As soon as we hit reset or as soon as the menu finishes scrolling up (or we press a button to make it scroll up instantly)? Also, how should we time our level splits, or is that up to us? And on that note, does anyone have autosplitters for this game that work with Nestopia?

Edit: As a suggestion, it may be better to adjust the rules so that times starts when you press start. The current record holder, andresfpg13, timed it that way, but I don't want to make everyone have to redo their run for something like that either. Just something to consider.

Thanks.

Time starts as soon as you press the start button to start the game. Using level splits is completely up to the runner

Thanks a lot for the clarification, Carter. That helps a lot.
