I've been thinking about running Splatoon (maybe not, but I'll see) and I notice a lot of people running Spanish over English. Why is this? Is there a way to set it up on an individual account?

United States

Changing languages is faster by about 3 seconds for Spanish if you have a NTSC version and if you have a PAL version, Italian is a bit faster than Spanish.

If you only have one profile on the Wii U, click your little icon, do Switch User, then you can create a new one from there. You want to NOT add a NNID or else you'll get Callie and Marie telling you what the maps are and all that jazz.

United States

Unfortunately changing your system language changes is permanently for all accounts and all games. You can't change it only for a single account and switch freely. The only way to switch language is to wait it out every time.
