Hi, I'm SpeedOfStupid. I've been watching speed runners for a while and always thought what they did looked really cool, so I finally decided to try it. I'm starting with my favorite game, Portal. I'm not all that good at it, but I have a lot of free time to practice so hopefully I'll eventually get a decent time.
What's your PB ? What categories do you want to learn ? What other games do you plan on running ? Do you stream on Twitch ?
My personal best is just a little under two hours, it's a terrible time but I'm working on it. I'm learning glitchless, because it look like the least complicated and well I figured it's a good place to start. I don't know what other games I'll run. Portal 2 Solo Coop looks interesting so I might eventually try that. I don't stream yet, I'm working on getting that all set up currently.
You should try out my Portal 1 mod called Portal Elevators. I removed all waiting time thus making the run flawless and very easy for practice purposes.
