I like to speedrun smw 11 exit, but I need to know what is the minimum time that I can post w/out getting denied so I can work on speedrunning again.

There actually isn't a set time for needing a video as far as I'm aware, but as long as you're not getting sub 10's, yeah you should probably be fine.

Yeah, there's no real limit on what time you can get before needing proof as far as I know, but if you get sub 13 minutes in 11 exit then you'll need milliseconds or mods will add 0.999 to your time (Only kinda relevant but worth mentioning I guess)

Not going to lie, this is a lot better than the main forum's. I accidently posted my first post on there, and they were men about it. I think they don't particularly like me. And also, I did this because I'm not allowed to record video then place it on my desktop. BUT REALLY GUYS, THX!

the reason they're being "men" to you is because there's this underlying problem of proof-less runs that's starting to become more and more prevalent since speedrunning gets more mainstream. as long as you're not getting any remarkable times, it's fine, but if you really like speedrunning as a hobby then just get a camera like what's the point

Thanks, I want a capture card, but can't get one, and am not allowed to get one, so, I stopped speedrunning because of this problem. (Wow, I make so many errors)

you don't need a capture card. if you can just get a camera, and it doesn't look like shit, you could run just fine. if your parents are adamant about it (assuming you're still underage), guess there's nothing you can do. (hell, even a phone camera could do! just make sure you can see what's going on. :P)

There's really no need for video proof until you're getting good times; if you can't record a run, no big deal. If you can, great

Why aren't you allowed to get a capture card? If you're using a real SNES with composite output, there's plenty of easycap-like devices that can be found for under 20 USD that'll do the trick.
