I am a console runner stuck in 1.16.210 and just want to know if the mod team is thinking about spilling the leaderboards for post 1.17 especially with the increased depth limit and other caves and cliffs features. Thanks

i think it should bc its harder terrain and diff strats

The caves are coming to bedrock, the snapshots are just primarily in Java right now. And as for the stronghold, the deeper caves are causing it to generate way deeper than it used to. But I think lava pools will be more difficult to get to underground because the bottom of the world is deeper. Basically, I think that the update is going to hurt speedrunning, so the leaderboard needs to be split to be fair to the people who have to play the update

Maybe could happen cuz 1)deeper caves 2) deeper stronghold unless it's under water. 3) warden will be there so lot in cheats. 4) better terrain.

But most will still play on 1.16 I think

@justanormaldude Strats that change would be lava pools - I feel like its going to be a lot common, in the snapshots theres things like random cracks or idk that you can go through and get to y0 in like 30 seconds. Im not too sure if theres anything else, but who knows? maybe in the wardens loot there could be pearls? idk
